An awareness programme on Gender Sensitisation was held at Govt. Higher Secondary School Qaimoh on 13th October. The event was organised by the NGO LIVE FOR OTHERS BEING HELPFUL in collaboration with the school.
The programme was graced by Ms. Babita Agnihotri, Counsellor of the NGO, along with other members of her team. The event also witnessed the presence of Dr. Sajad Ahmad Mir, Principal, Mr. Farooq Ahmad Kumar, Vice-Principal, school officials, representatives from J&K Bank, and the students of the institution.
Speaking on the occasion, Ms. Babita Agnihotri and Dr. Sajad Ahmad Mir highlighted various aspects of gender equality and the importance of gender sensitisation in building a more inclusive and respectful society.
The session proved to be highly informative and engaging, spreading awareness among students and staff about the need to promote mutual respect and understanding across genders.
