June 5, 2025: In a symbolic gesture celebrating talent and tradition, the fourth match of the Nuur Ud Din Drug De-addiction Cricket Trophy began on a special note as renowned vocalist and harmonium maestro Mr. Bashir Ahmad Bhat was honoured with the responsibility of conducting the toss.
A celebrated figure in Kashmir’s musical heritage, Mr. Bashir Ahmad has long mesmerized audiences with his soulful voice and mastery over classical compositions. Inviting him to do the toss was a mark of respect for his artistic journey and cultural contributions.
The toss was won by HS Bhan, who opted to field first. HSS Qaimoh A, batting with resilience, set a strong total on the board. In response, HS Bhan faltered under pressure, and HSS Qaimoh A emerged victorious by 25 runs.
